Milele Youth seeks to identify its self as an entity with relevant fully functional programs aimed at holistically polishing young people from any perceived social societal background.
Arts, Creatives & Talents
Young people tend to be forgotten by all stakeholders in a given formation, not knowing that the youth happen to be the human capital that powers up all spheres of our society. Milele youth appreciates different God given gifts and talents harbored in the hearts and minds of the youths hence having a dockect responsible for nuturing, incubating and approximately connecting the sharpened gifts and talents from milele youth to available opportunity locally and beyond borders.
Milele Youth intends to have a dedicated production studio for audio and visual that will help record music and short inspiration material for the youth gifted along those lines. The studio will have an annexed mini auditorium where those young gifted people in public speaking / spoken word, thespians etc. The arts, creatives and talent section will cater for all of the needs emanating from this field.
Schools Missions / Outreaches
Schools and other institutions of learning offer great opportunity when it comes to shaping the future of the young people. It’s a fact that the same schools host young people from different home setups and upbringing. Cognizant of the fact that some of the young people come from broken homes and other institutions of parenting, Milele Youth has school missions / outreach that offer spiritual nourishments, encouragement an reconnection to Jesus Christ through extravaganza teaching the word of God and relevant approaches.

Masomo Boost Kitty

Man-Up Project
Milele Youth is a space where young people under its organization will someday metamorphose into men tasked with the responsibility of starting families of their own. Man-up Projects is a session under Milele Youth specifically designed to prepare young men in readiness for greater purpose ahead o them. Amidst so many challenges some of which have led to broken homes and a series of irresponsible fathers out there, the Man-up project helps curve out that young man into an all-around fine responsible man for society.
Jigger Eradication Program
Milele ministries is an organization with multisectoral division each with a specific function clearly demarcated for a specific goal. Under the jigger education sector, the organization spearheads the jigger education campaign in the porous Mt Elgon region in Western Kenya. The campaign works in local and difficult to reach regions in Mt Elgon Kenya and it tasks its self with the responsibility of empirically enlisting the persons affected with the jigger infestation and approximately offering assistance through the efforts of 100 volunteers from Kitale Kenya.

The campaign’s core objective is to see to its that eradication of jigger in Kenya especially our area of focus which is Mt. Elgon is realizable. Cognizant of the fact that the jigger infestation among the population in the locality, has made it difficult for the area to maximize its productivity potential due to the immobility of persons brought about by the debilitating jigger pandemic. It’s with a profound conviction and resolve that as Milele ministries we are going to push ourselves beyond the conventional bounds to see that these people are freed from the shackles of this only attainable if we get on board the like-minded partners who share in our dream and aspiration of bringing a reprieve to the people of Mt .Elgon.

From the introductory part, Milele Ministries is an origination locally founded and run and holistically devoted on the jigger eradication program in the rural areas of Mt .Elgon in Kenya as stated above. The Milele anti-jiggers campaign activities include the registration of jigger victims; providing direct services such as treatment, preventative sector, and the community to help raise public awareness and support for jigger eradication in Mt. Elgon region.
Awareness Creation
Through sustained and consistent use of social and mainstream media, Milele manages to heighten awareness regarding the plight of the millions of poverty stricken people infested with jiggers. He stigma previously associated with jigger infest station is greatly reduced and uninfected members of society have begun to understand that jigger infestation is result of extreme poverty and not due to misconstrue issues such as witchcraft and curses. Previously jigger victims were turned away from public hospitals and health facilities, but as things stand the society has come to understand the need to embrace the victims as they help them to access the necessary support and treatment.
Registration Of Jigger Infected Victims
Milele ministry took up the task of accurately documenting the numbers of those affected by jigger infestation, which eventually registered children between the ages of 0 – 12 years, women and men. This data has been very important in the fight against this plague ravishing the people of Mt Elgon by extinction. The county harnessed information helps in informing our next course of action in terms of implementing our strategy in jigger eradication in this area.
Education & Training
Milele Ministry Kenya has trained volunteers, community health workers, and community members on the management and control of jigger infestation. Our collaboration with persons an entity with vast knowledge on the fight against jigger infestation has given us an opportunity to get our team adequately trained and equipped for this very task.

Active Forms Of Partnerships
Our Milele program engages in mutually formed partnerships with government ministries, corporate organizations, individuals and community-based organizations. Each group plays a critical role in the eradication of jiggers. The anti-jigger’s campaign has been ongoing for the last four years and we have seen the impact in the villages we have offered our services. Unfortunately the resources at our disposal are limited and we are afraid this aspect will have a huge negative impact in our jigger eradication program. This explains the reason for us reaching a few victims against the need in the community

Project Sustainability

Our Milele Project sustainability will greatly depend on our efforts to first enlighten the target communities to observe hygiene and be at the forefront of eradicating the jigger menace. Also, our efforts to partner with organizations, donors, and by extension to fundraise for this project will sustain the project. We are looking forward to partnering with donors, organizations so that there is a continuous mutual community benefits and support.
