Our sensitization program called “Fikia Dada” targets school going children aged 10 – 18. We collaborate with chiefs to reach them at the village level. We create awareness on the triple threat of GBV, early pregnancies and HIV/Aids and train on preventive measures around defilement. We also teach life skills including self-awareness, interpersonal skills and thinking skills. In addition we give sanitary towels and underwear to the girls. Since its inception in 2021, we have reached over 1000 girls. Through this program we have identified and are currently sponsoring 20 teenage mothers through high school.
